French macaron (mack-ah-rohn) is a sandwiched cookie. This cookie was introduced in France by an Italian chef of Queen Catherine de Medici during the Renaissance period. It is a meringue-based confection made with fine almond flour, granulated sugar, egg whites, powdered sugar, egg whites & gel food colour. This dessert is characterized by its smooth top, flat base and ruffled feet. Macarons are generally having a flavoured buttercream, jam and white or dark chocolate ganache filling inside.
We start with a perfect ratio of almond flour, egg whites & sugar, and then add ample flavor to both the shells & the filling. This gives our macarons a bold taste that doesn’t leave you wondering which one you just ate. And, we use real, organic ingredients (hello, actual pistachios!) as much as we can. Lastly, size matters. Our macarons are larger than average, and we like it that way.
